Brewer Bombs River

Chris Brewer opened to 8,000 from the cutoff and Yuchung Chang three-bet to 30,000. Brewer made the call.

Action checked through on the 9710 flop and the Q turn.

On the Q river Brewer thought about his decision for about a minute before betting 144,000, leaving only a single yellow 1,000 chip behind. Chang made the fold and Brewer scooped a nice pot.

Schwartz Doubles Through Finger

Martin Finger raised it up on the button and Noah Schwartz defended from the big blind. The flop fell A93 and both players checked to the 2 on the turn.

Schwartz checked again and Finger threw in a bet of 16,000. Schwartz called and the 3 paired the board on the river. Schwartz checked for the third time and Finger jammed all in. Schwartz instantly splashed in chips to call off his stack 46,000. Finger tabled A8 but Schwartz held A3 for a full house.

Parssinen Gets Respect with River Bet

Action was picked up on the flop with players heads up and about 19,000 in the middle and the board reading 5Q5. Kitty Kuo checked from the small blind and Eelis Parssinen bet 6,000. Kuo made the call.

Both players checked the 5 turn.

On the K river Kuo checked, and Parssinen bet 18,000, forcing a fold from Kuo.

Brouk Takes from Lew

Tomi Brouk raised from under the gun to 6,000 and received calls from Scott Bartlett in the small blind and Robbi Jade Lew in the big blind.

The flop came QJ6. Action checked back to Brouk who made a continuation bet of 7,000. Bartlett got out of the way and Jade-Lew made the call.

Lew checked on the 8 turn and Brouk fired a second barrel for 17,000, forcing a fold from Lew.

Lynskey Bluffs Into a Set

Sung Joo Hyun and Alex Lynskey went heads-up to a flop of Q72 and Hyun started with a check. Lynskey tossed in a bet of 12,000 and Hyun just called.

The turn brought the 6 and Hyun check-called another bet of 42,000 from Lynskey. The 4 completed the board and Hyun checked one more time. Lynskey announced all in and Hyun instantly called off his stack of 109,500. Lynskey tabled his hand that included the 9 but it was no good against the 77 from Hyun.

The schedule for the 2023-2024 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC), which begins July 19, has been released, and it includes 25 stops over a 10-month period.

Circuit ring action kicks off in Durant, Oklahoma at the popular Choctaw Casino and Resort, one of the top poker rooms in the central United States. At the conclusion of the Circuit season, every player who won a ring throughout the year — live and online — will be automatically entered into the Tournament of Champions at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, which is a $1 million freeroll.
