After only one level of play a massive 2,400 players have registered for the Super Seniors. It will only take another 269 entrants to break the all-time record set in 2022 with a field of 2,669.
Late registration will close around 8:15 p.m. local time so if you want to be involved or if you want to enter your Ma, Pa, or grandparents, you still have plenty of time.
With only 4,600 chips remaining, James Dike opened from under the gun to 500. The hijack raised to 1,300 and was called by the button. Dike completed.
But on the flop 4♠K♦10♠, Dike moved all in directly for 3,300 chips. The hijack folded, but the button seemed interested. He counted the pot and, with around 30,000 chips in his stack, he looked like he had no choice but to call. "Good luck, sir," he said while paying.
James Dike: Q♦J♦
Button: A♠8♠
The button hit his ace on the turn A♦. But this card opened a royal flush draw for Dike. On the river came the 7♦, completing Dike's flush.

The player under the gun limped. His neighbor did too, as did another player in middle position, the button, and the blinds.
On 9♠8♦K♠, everybody checked to the player in early position, who bet 600. The middle position player took some time to call, leading to an early fold from the small blind. After the button called, everyone else folded.
The Q♦ came on the turn and all three players still in the pot checked. On the river 7♦, after two checks, Norman Silverman on the button bet 2,000. The first player folded, but the second didn't really know what to do. In the end, he folded, showing the K♣.

With 5,200 in the middle, three players saw the flop of 10♣7♣4♦. The small blind made a bet of 1,500. That was too low for David Meir in early position who raised to 4,500.
The button quickly got out of the way, but the small blind took a bit longer before folding and saying "Nice hand, sir" in a sarcastic tone. Meir took in the pot and is approaching doubling his stack from the start of the day.

There were 2,500 in the middle on a flop of J♠6♥2♣ and Men Nguyen bet 1,500 from the button which was called by the big blind.
Both players checked the 3♥ turn, but Nguyen made a delayed continuation bet on the A♦ river for 3,500. The big blind opted to fold and "the Master" dragged in the pot.

From middle position, film producer Danut Chisu opened to 700. Stuart Katzman called in the cutoff, and the small blind put chips in the pot to call also.
Danut continued for 800 on A♥J♥6♦. This time, Katzman min-raised to 1,600. The small blind folded at this point, but Danut didn't let go and called, before checking the turn card 5♥. Katzman fired out a bet of 2,500. But with a slight smile, Danut folded Q♦Q♣ showing his hand, while Katzman showed A♠6♠ for two pair.
