Martinez Gonzalez Wins Another Showdown Pot
Nível 30
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Sergio Martinez Gonzalez raised the pot with the 9♠9♥8♦7♦ and was called by Ka Kwan Lau in the big blind with the K♣8♣7♠6♣. That led them to the 5♦4♠3♠ flop on which both players checked.
On the J♦ turn, Lau bet the pot for 2,800,000 with his naked gutshot and inferior pair. Martinez Gonzalez called and they checked the 3♣ river as they checked it down. Lau showed visible frustration when he was shown the bad news.
