Hinkle Foils the Bluff

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle

Blair Hinkle raised to 40,000 first to act and Aaron Thivyanathan defended the big blind. The flop came J59 and both players checked.

The turn was the 3 and Thivyanathan bet 50,000, which Hinkle called. On the Q river, Thivyanathan quietly shoved the rest of his stack in for about 220,000. Hinkle talked to himself for a few seconds and called.

Aaron Thivyanathan: 87
Blair Hinkle: AQ

Hinkle's top pair was good to knock out Thivyanathan.

Elsewhere Matthias Auer and Eugene Pleyo took early exits and were knocked out.
