James Clarke on the button weighed up all the possible decisions and opted to make the call.

On a flop of 2♥10♠5♥, Gordon Eng in the cutoff, bet 265,000. Lukas Omlid on the button, called.

The turn was the 6♦. Eng bet again, making it 550,000 to go. Omlid went into the tank for a couple of minutes before making the call.

The river came K♠ and Eng fired a third barrel, betting 1,300,000. Omlid thought for another couple of minutes, this time finding a fold.

Two players remained as they looked at a pot of 450,000 and a board that read 5♠9♣6♣. Pavel Chalupka bet out from the big blind for 145,000 and William Freeman, who was under the gun, called.

The 4♥ fell on the turn and Chalupka slowed down. Freeman took the lead with a jam for 440,000 and Chalupka folded.

Freeman showed 9♦9♥ for top set.

Cloninger Wins Without a Showdown

Victor Ramdin opened from under the gun to 160,000, Jiaqi Xu in the hijack called and Loren Cloninger in the big blind defended.

They went three-ways to a flop of K♥J♠7♥. The action was checked to Xu who bet out for 245,000. Only Cloninger called.

The Q♣ turn checked through to the 8♠ on the river. Cloninger took the lead for 335,000 which was enough to force a fold from Xu.

Action folded to Ron Fetsch in the cutoff who put out a bet of 150,000. Next to act was Gordon Eng on the button who made the call and the blinds folded.

The 8♦3♥9♠ flop landed and Fetsch continued for 175,000. Eng called and they were off to a turn.

The J♥ landed and Fetsch slowed down and checked. Eng immediately put out a bet of 450,000. Fetsch went into the tank but eventually made the fold.

"I'll show if you show" Eng remarked before mucking. Fetsch agreed and showed A♦Q♥ for just ace high and Eng showed 8♣8♠ for a flopped middle set.
