Patrick Viret Eliminated in 25th Place ($30,067)
Nível 32
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Patrick Viret was in the hijack in a heads-up pot against David Thompson on a board of 8♠8♦3♦. Viret moved all in for around 2,000,000 and Thompson quickly called with a bigger stack.
Patrick Viret: A♦Q♦
David Thompson: 8♥7♥
It was a fair fight as Thompson had trips against the flush draw of Viret, who couldn't get there as the runout of J♣7♣ improved Thompson to a full house to mark Viret's elimination.
