Cazayous Triples Up Thanks to the River

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In early position, the table chipleader with around 500,000 chips opened to 14,000. The small blind called and French WSOP bracelet winner Thomas Cazayous went all in for 131,000.

The open-raiser called and the small blind reshoved for 3,000 more. Without surprise, he was called and all cards were revealed.

Thomas Cazayous: A8
Small blind: 87
Open raiser: AJ

The board came 76A98 and Cazayous tripled up while the small blind took the 6,000 side pot.

Strike for Holst

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Michael Holst opened from early position. Following him, Ludovic Mordwa in middle position moved all-in for approximately 100,000 chips, and he was called by a player on the button.

Chipleader of his table, Holst wanted all the chips, so he raised all-in. With just a few chips to add in this 300,000 chips pot, the button called.

Michael Holst: KK
Ludovic Mordwa: AJ
Button Player: 77

Nothing changed on the board J61063, with Holst's Kings remaining the best hand. With this massive pot, he now sits in front of 640,000 chips, just a few minutes before the dinner break.

Olenak Uses His One Time to Triple Up

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The cutoff moved all in for 57,000, then button Wim Verhaegen reraised enough to put Jason Olenak all-in, and he called.

Jason Olenak: JJ
Wim Verhaegen: AQ
Cutoff: 55

"I haven't done it yet, so one time!" shouted Olenak. He did in fact get his one time when the flop came JK2, but with Verhaegan picking up a straight draw. But Olenak was carried to safety with a 99 turn and river.

Olenak's wife Kimberly is also playing in this event and so far it has been a good day for the Olenaks.
