Ciccarelli Cracks Aces With Runner Runner Flush

Nível 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Just a few hands after eliminating Victor Bershinsky (55>AK), John Ciccarelli raised to approximately 1,000,000 after Sebastien Comel's open. When the other players folded, Comel moved all-in and got called immediately.

Sebastien Comel: AA
John Ciccarelli: AK

Comel had the perfect opportunity to join the chipleaders' group. And it started well for him, with a 5JK flop. But the 6 came on the turn, followed by the 7, which completed Ciccarelli's flush.

Very disappointed, Comel looked in the air for a few seconds before leaving the area.

Up to 8,000,000 chips, Ciccarelli held the chip lead only a few minutes because on the next hand, it was his turn to run into a flush. In a developed pot, he lost against Koray Aldemir's K8 on 97610J. Both players now have around 5,500,000 chips.

Anthony Askey raised it to 500,000 from middle position, leaving 50,000 behind. Action folded around to Roslyn Quarto in the big blind, who reraised all in.

Askey stalled, admitting he was hoping a player would bust for the pay jump. "I would have looked smart if I said that was the reason I put you all in," Quarto said.

Askey apologized to the table and said he would only wait another thirty seconds, but when those thirty seconds were up and no one had busted, Askey called.

Anthony Askey: 107
Roslyn Quarto: A2

Quarto hit a deuce on the 532 flop, improved to two pair on a 5 turn, and then rivered a straight on the 4 river just for good measure, and Askey was not able to survive to the next pay jump.

But when a 2 double paired the board, Grande made his move, betting 400,000. Kuether climbed into the tank for two minutes, before finally conceding the hand to Grande.

On the button, Khoi Lang moved all in for 1,500,000 chips. In the big blind, Jonathan Guez seemed to struggle to make a decision. He counted his stack, checked the blinds level and the payout, and then took a pile of chips to call.

Khoi Lang: JJ
Jonathan Guez: A4

Standing up and filming the action, Lang stayed ahead on the flop 5K9, the turn 10, and the river 8. "Let's f****** go!" Lang shouted when the last card of the board landed on the table. Guez was not as happy as Lang, as he lost half of his stack on this hand.

A few hands later, the Frenchman has been eliminated.
