Alfred Decarolis Eliminated in 10th Place ($411,490)

Nível 18 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Alfred Decarolis
Alfred Decarolis

The action folded around to Chris Brewer in the small blind who shoved all in as the big stack. Alfred Decarolis was in the big blind with a stack of around 1,800,000 and called it off.

Alfred Decarolis: Q5
Chris Brewer: A9

The flop came J99 and Brewer flopped three nines to take a stranglehold on the hand. Decarolis had a flush draw but the J on the turn negated any hope of that. The river was the 8 and Decarolis was eliminated in 10th place.

Veneziano Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Nível 18 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Alfred Decarolis limped in from the cutoff which invited Chance Kornuth in on the button. Steven Veneziano and Alex Kulev also tagged along from the blinds. The flop fell 662 and the action checked to Kornuth who bet 300 which only Veneziano called.

The turn was the 3 and both players checked to the 7 on the river. Veneziano led out with a bet of 500,000 on the river and Kornuth called. Veneziano tabled A6 for trip sixes and Kornuth mucked his cards.

Martirosian Bombs the River

Nível 18 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and Artur Martirosian called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of 872 and Kabrhel checked. Martirosian bet 400,000 and Kabrhel instantly called.

The turn was the 8 and Kabrhel checked again. Martirosian slid out a bet of 800,000 and Kabrhel snap-called again.

The river brought the A and Kabrhel checked once more. Martirosian announced a bet of 5,000,000 this time and Kabrhel finally got rid of his cards.

Dan Smith raised in late position and Ben Heath three-bet all in for his remaining chips — roughly 1,500,000 — with Smith making the call shortly after.

Ben Heath: A10
Dan Smith: QJ

Ivey Eliminated on the Money Bubble

Nível 17 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

The action folded to Phil Ivey on the button who shipped all in for around 4,200,000. Martin Kabrhel asked for a count in the big blind but then quickly called to put Ivey at risk. Once the action was finished at the other table, the cards were turned face up.

Phil Ivey: A3
Martin Kabrhel: QQ

The flop came J77 and Kabrhel was still well out front with his pair of queens. The 6 on the turn and the 3 on the river was not enough for Ivey to survive as he was eliminated on the money bubble.
