Julien Loire Eliminated in 8th Place ($144,928)
Nível 39
: Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante
On a heads-up flop of 8♠3♥9♠, Julien Loire led out for 4,000,000 and then Jesse Rockowitz raised him to 12,000,000.
Loire went into the tank but eventually made the call to see the Q♠ land on the turn. Loire quickly checked over to Rockowitz, who paused for a bit before he announced all-in, covering Loire.
Loire went deep into the tank, counting and recounting his chips before eventually setting out a stack, putting his tournament life at risk.
Julien Loire: Q♦Q♣
Jesse Rockowitz: K♠J♠
Loire had turned a set of queens but was still behind Rockowitz's made flush, and the 4♣ on the river failed to pair the board and Loire was eliminated in 8th place.
