Cada’s Aces Score Double-Up
Nível 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
WSOP bracelet winner Joe Cada and Julien Loire squared off in a big pot.
Loire raised to 800,000 in early position, and then Cada, who was on the button, three-bet to 1,950,000.
Loire covered Cada and went in the tank, peeking over at the 2009 WSOP Main Event champion, who was motionless. After up to close to a minute, Loire moved all in.
Cada, who had 7,550,000 behind, snap called to put his tournament life at stake.
Joe Cada: A♠A♦
Julien Loire: K♠Q♠
The dealer fanned 7♦3♦9♣ on the flop, leaving Cada ahead. The 8♥ appeared on the turn, followed by 9♠ on the river, giving Cada a double-up.
