Event #37: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em Kicks Off at 10 AM

Welcome to Day 1 of Event #37: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em here at the 2023 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This three-day event will be sure to attract some of the biggest and best players in the world.

Last year it was Bulgaria’s Simeon Spasov who took down the coveted bracelet, defeating a field of 1,977 runners which generated a prize pool of $3,519,060 and him taking home $527,944 for first place. Spasov, who is no stranger to these types of fields with over $1.6 million in earnings, will look to defend his title and add to his lengthy poker resume.

A total of fifteen 40-minute levels will be played on Day 1, with a 20-minute break every three levels. The blinds will start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. The starting stack is 30,000 chips and players will be able to reenter once if needed.

The dinner break will be 75 minutes and is after Level 9, which will be at about 7:00 p.m. local time.

Late registration is open through the dinner break, until the start of Level 13, around 8:15 p.m. local time. Players who make it to the end of day will bag for Day 2, scheduled on Friday, June 16th at 10 a.m.
