Badziakouski’s Preflop Aggression Takes Pot from Negreanu

Nível 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Mikita Badziakouski raised to 12,000 in early position and action folded to six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, who was in the big blind.

Negreanu peeked down at his card and got quiet, glancing over to Badziakouski before three-betting the action to 75,000.

Badziakouski didn’t flinch and announced an all-in bet, which prompted Negeanu to immediately flick his cards into the muck.

Top Set for Kornuth

Nível 5 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe and Chance Kornuth were heads-up in a four-bet pot with a little under 300,000 in the middle already. The flop came AQ7 and Jaffe checked from the small blind. Kornuth made a small bet of 36,000 and Jaffe just called.

The turn was the 8 and both players checked to the 9 on the river. Jaffe led out with a bet of 78,000 and Kornuth raised to 285,000. Jaffe quickly called and Kornuth flipped over AA for the best hand.

Heath Wins Battle of Blinds

Nível 5 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Action folded through the button before the flop, leaving Ben Heath in the small blind against Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.

The situation got spicy when Heath raised to 25,000, and then Vogelsang three-bet to 67,000, which Heath called.

The dealer placed 5JQ on the board, which Heath checked. Vogelsang bet 36,000 and Heath called.

The turn slowed down the action when 5 appeared and both players checked to the river, where 5 appeared. Heath then took an aggressive line and led out with 212,000 and the move appeared to surprise Vogelsang, who removed his hoodie from his head and turned slightly in his chair to face Heath.

Vogelsang ran his fingers through his hair as he looked at his opponent, and then he shifted to look at the board. After a few seconds, Vogelsang folded.

Brewer, Badziakouski Clash

Nível 4 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Chris Brewer and WSOP bracelet winner Mikita Badziakouski were involved in a growing pot after the flop, which showed J7J on the board.

The pot had more than 100,000 in it and it would grow when 3 appeared.

Badziakouski, who was in the cutoff, bet 60,000 into Brewer, who was on the button. Brewer took his time before making the call.

Fireworks ensued on the river, where the dealer placed 7. Badziakouski led out with 110,000, and Brewer once again took a few moments before announcing a raise to 500,000, which immediately got his opponent’s attention.

Badziakouski removed his sunglasses and leaned back in his chair. He then leaned forward to study the board while shuffling chips in his right hand. He eventually folded as the pot was pushed to Brewer.
