On the tail end of a heads-up pot between James Obst and Kyle Cartwright, the latter bet the 6♠2♠2♦K♣ turn and Obst called. They checked the 9♠ on the river and Cartwright tabled his A♠10♠8♥2♥ for a flush and scooped the pot.
Yarron Bendor was all-in for 80,000 before the flop and James Obst looked him up with the far bigger stack.
"You can still walk away," Bendor joked but he would be the one to walk to the payout desk once the following showdown was completed.

Jay Kerbel was all-in for fewer than one full bet preflop and found two opponents in James Chen and James Obst. The latter bet the 9♥8♣2♣J♣ turn when checked to and Chen folded.
"I guess I need a low," Kerbel sighed as he exposed his cards.

In a hand between Aaron Kupin on the button and Robert Yass in the big blind, Kupin was deciding on whether to call a river check-raise by Yass on a board that read 5♥3♥A♦5♦Q♠.
Kupin ultimately decided to call and was shown the bad news.
Yass tabled A♠K♠Q♥5♣ for a full-house, fives full of aces. Kupin did not have a competing low and sent his hand into the muck.
Jason Daly earned a vital pot when his bet on the 10♥4♥2♥8♥ turn went through against James Chen.
Chen was involved in three-way action from under the gun, picking up calls from Luis Velador on the button and Johannes Becker in the big blind.
Velador bet the K♣Q♦10♣ flop when checked to and earned two calls. They checked the 9♣ turn and 9♦ river as Becker announced ace-queen, flashing the A♥Q♠.
"I have the nut straight," Velador replied and his A♦J♦7♥4♥ won the entire pot
The bad run of Jay Kerbel continued as he once again only received one quarter with the A♥Q♦J♠2♥ on a board of 9♠5♥3♦6♠A♦, as Kyle Cartwright took three quarters with the A♠5♦3♥2♦.
Yarron Bendor then chopped for a small profit to scoop shortly after for half a bet when he was all-in with fumes following the loss of his big blind. James Obst had forced out James Chen (US) on the A♠10♠3♥J♦K♦ river with a bet and won the larger side pot with K♣K♠5♠5♣, while Bendor's A♣A♦5♣2♥ secured a tiny triple up.
Kerbel then had to forfeit the big blind and fell behind Bendor in the pecking order.
Low on chips, John Hennigan tabled A♠7♣6♠2♠ in a hand against Brad Ruben, who missed everything with a massive draw, showing 7♠4♦3♠2♦ on a 5♦6♦9♥J♣10♥ board.
The scoop gave Hennigan some life as one the tournament short stacks.
Jason Daly got it in after the J♥10♦9♣10♥ turn with the 8♦7♦4♣3♣ for the bottom end of the straight while James Chen tabled the A♦10♣3♠2♠ for trips tens and the K♦ river earned Daly a full double.
Sam Farha was all-in against Erik Seidel on board that read 2♥10♣Q♦7♦ and the cards were flipped on their backs.

The dealer dealt the 6♥ on the river, which was no help to Farha and the poker legend would exit the tournament.
James Chen raised and Yarron Bendor called all-in for 30,000 in the cutoff, Kyle Cardwright did so on the button and Luis Velador in the big blind.
On a flop of 8♠8♦4♦, Velador checked and Chen bet to earn two calls. Velador bet the 10♠ turn to earn a call from Chen, while Cartwright folded. Velador bet the 5♦ river again and Chen called.
Velador showed A♥Q♣8♣5♥ for a full house and low, while Chen had A♣K♦J♠3♦ for a king-high flush and superior low. Bendor's A♦10♣6♦3♠ for the nut flush and joint-best low earned him back the same amount of chips.
