Elezra Cannot Find Fold
A player opened from the cutoff and Eli Elezra three-bet on the button only to see the big blind four-bet. Both the cutoff player and Elezra called to generate three-way action heading to the first draw.
The big blind stood pat on the initial draw while both the cutoff and Elezra took one card. After the draw, the big blind bet and received two calls.
The same drawing pattern took place on the second draw after which the big blind bet again and was called by the cutoff. Elezra then raised but could not shed either of his opponents, both of whom called.
The final draw saw the big blind stand pat, the cutoff take one and Elezra decline to draw. The big blind then checked, prompting the cutoff to bet. That seemed to put Elezra in a tricky position but he did end up making call while the big blind got out of the way. Elezra mucked after his opponent showed down 6♦5♣3♠2♥ telling the rest of the table he had held nine-six.
