Lamb Slaughtered by Schutten

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ben Lamb moved all in for around 350,000 from the cutoff as action folded to Brek Schutten in the big blind, who called to put Lamb at risk.

Ben Lamb: QJ
Brek Schutten: A10

Lamb had a drink delivered just as the dealer was about to turn over the cards. "If I win this hand, I'll give you some change," Lamb told the server as the flop came 586.

Lamb didn't receive any help on the K turn or 9 river and was sent to the rail.

Lehr Gets There on the River to Bust Bonomo

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Keith Lehr
Keith Lehr

With around 300,000 already in the middle in a blind versus blind pot, Justin Bonomo bet 200,000 on a board of 6827 before Keith Lehr raised enough to put him all in.

Bonomo began shuffling his time bank chips before letting out a sigh and calling for around 350,000 more. He showed K8 for top pair, while Lehr had Q8 for a pair and flush draw.

The A river completed Lehr's flush and rocketed him up past 3,000,000.

"Good luck, Keith," Bonomo told him on his way to the payout desk.

"Thanks. It was nice playing with you," Lehr replied.

Laskowitz Picks Off Mateos For Massive Double

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Adrian Mateos three-bet to 240,000 from the small blind and Sam Laskowitz called on the button.

The flop came 7A10 and Mateos continued for 90,000. Laskowitz called to see the J turn.

Mateos slowed down and checked, allowing Laskowitz to bet out 155,000. Mateos called and the 8 fell on the river.

Mateos now announced he was all in and Laskowitz immediately shot back in his seat and put his arms on his head as he went into the tank. He eventually committed his last 610,000 as Mateos showed QJ for a pair of jacks.

Laskowitz turned over AJ for two pair to take down the massive pot and double up.

"You can breathe now," one of his supporters said from the rail as Laskowitz waited for the dealer to push him over the big pile of chips.

Hallay Moves All In, Stays Silent

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Having seen a board of 9987 Brek Schutten led out 125,000 into a 450,000 pot from the big blind. Axel Hallay called from under the gun, and the players took a river of 10.

Schutten moved another 200,000 from his 1,850,000 stack into the center. Hallay responded with an all in, for 745,000 total, nearly half of Schutten's chips. Schutten shrugged and folded, saying, "I had a straight. Did you bluff me?" Hallay remained stoic as he slid his hand to the dealer.

"Rampage" Fights to Stay Alive

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After having to fold his under the gun raise to Andrew Lichtenberger's three bet the previous hand, Ethan "Rampage" Yau called from the big blind when Andrew Lichtenberger himself raised 50,000 from under the gun.

The flop fell Q94. Yau checked and then called Lichtenberger's 25,000 bet. Both players checked the J turn.

Two World Champs Down

Nível 13 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Espen Jorstad
Espen Jorstad

Espen Jorstad was all in for around 450,000 and up against Bill Klein.

Espen Jorstad: AQ
Bill Klein: JJ

Jorstad was racing for his tournament life and took the lead on the Q74 flop, hitting top pair. The J turn, though, was a disaster as Klein made a set. The river came the 2 and the reigning Main Event champion tapped the felt and wished his former tablemates luck before heading for the payout desk.

"I was just about to say Bill Klein does so well in all ins. Then you won one," Daniel Negreanu told Klein after the hand.

Koray Aldemir, Jorstad's predecessor as world champion, was also eliminated at the same time on another table.
