Lin, Pantaleo Chop Up an Opponent

Nível 13

Three-handed on a flop of 1074, a player in the small blind, down to his last 500 chip, moved all in.

"Call that if you don't like money," he told the table as Ren Lin and Giuseppe Pantaleo came along and called.

The turn came the A and Pantaleo bet. Lin called and both players checked the K river.

"I have the best hand," Lin said as he turned over A45Q for two pair. Pantaleo had AJ83 for the low.

"He gets the low," Lin wondered as he stood up from his seat.

"What is happening? We both don't know what to do," Pantaleo said as the table burst out laughing. They eventually chopped up the pot, while the small blind was eliminated.

Cartwright Gets Three Streets and Scoops

Nível 13

Action folded to Kyle Cartwright on the button who came in for a raise and got called by the player in the big blind, leading to a 1069 flop.

The big blind checked and Cartwright tossed out a bet. His opponent opted to check-call and see a 2 turn card. The big blind check-called another bet from Cartwright and both players were off to an 8 river.

Cartwright bet again when checked to and once more, the player in the big blind called to get to showdown.

Cartwright opened up the AA42, good enough to scoop the pot against his opponent's 8543.

Leng Beats Quads With a Straight Flush

Nível 13

Ryan Leng was involved in a massive pot coming back from break and relayed the details.

According to Leng, the flop came Qx4x5 and he check-raised a bet. His opponent called as the 4 came on the turn. After another series of bets, they saw the 3 fall on the river and all the money go into the pot.

Leng's opponent had 4x4x for quad fours, but Leng turned over A26 for a runner-runner straight flush and a low to scoop the entire pot.

Halatenko Takes From Arsht, Sends One Out

Nível 12

A player in early position moved all in and was called by David Arsht before Stanislav Halatenko, in the cutoff, raised.

Arsht called to create a side pot as the flop came 7J4. Halatenko continued with a bet and Arsht called. Both players checked down the 6 turn and A river.

Halatenko turned over AAXxXx for a rivered set and neither opponent had a low as Halatenko took both the main and side pots, eliminating the early-position player.

Patrick Leonard is also seated at this table.

Jimerson Rides Up the Count; Moncek Heads Out

Nível 12

Michael Moncek was already standing up by his seat and all in for his tournament life as Matthew Jimerson and an opponent built a side pot on a board of 7984. Jimerson called a bet as the river came the A.

Jimerson now led out with a bet and his opponent called. Jimerson turned over A56Q for an ace-high flush with a seven-six low as his opponent angrily tossed two kings across the table.

Moncek didn't wait around to see his opponent's cards and was already out the door, as his second bracelet of this WSOP will have to wait for another tournament.

"My name is the elevator," Jimerson explained after the hand.
