The big blind checked and Cartwright tossed out a bet. His opponent opted to check-call and see a 2♥ turn card. The big blind check-called another bet from Cartwright and both players were off to an 8♥ river.

Cartwright bet again when checked to and once more, the player in the big blind called to get to showdown.

Cartwright opened up the A♦A♥4♦2♦, good enough to scoop the pot against his opponent's 8♣5♠4♠3♣.

Lin, Pantaleo Chop Up an Opponent

Three-handed on a flop of 10♣7♦4♣, a player in the small blind, down to his last 500 chip, moved all in.

"Call that if you don't like money," he told the table as Ren Lin and Giuseppe Pantaleo came along and called.

The turn came the A♠ and Pantaleo bet. Lin called and both players checked the K♣ river.

"I have the best hand," Lin said as he turned over A♣4♦5♦Q♠ for two pair. Pantaleo had A♥J♠8♥3♦ for the low.

"He gets the low," Lin wondered as he stood up from his seat.

"What is happening? We both don't know what to do," Pantaleo said as the table burst out laughing. They eventually chopped up the pot, while the small blind was eliminated.

The player in early position continued with a bet but faced a raise from Hale. After Hale's opponent called, both players saw a 9♠ turn card, prompting the early position player to check.

Hale made a bet, committing the rest of his chips to the pot. His opponent tossed in calling chips before seeing Hale turn up the A♥K♦Q♥Q♠ for top set.

The 4♠ river offered no help as his opponent showed the A♦10♦6♠4♣, missing his low and securing a full double for Hale.

Donny Rubinstein was sitting on one of the biggest stacks in the room with well over 100,000 but just lost a big pot to cut down his stack.

Rubinstein was in the big blind and called a raise from an under-the-gun player, as did an opponent in the hijack. The flop came 8♦2♥9♣ and action checked to the hijack, who tossed out a bet.

Both opponents called that bet and another on the 2♣ turn. The river came the 5♠ and the hijack bet again. Rubinstein quickly called, while the player under the gun frowned before making a reluctant call.

The hijack turned over A♥4♦2♦7♦ for trip deuces and a low as he scooped the entire pot.

Dennig Coolers Hughes to the Rail

Ryan Hughes, who won his third WSOP bracelet online earlier this week, raised a bet on a board of A♠5♥3♦A♣ and James Dennig put him all in.

Hughes quickly called with A♦2♣8♠ for trip aces, but Dennig turned over 2♦2♠4♥3♣ for the wheel. The river came the 9♥ and Dennig won the pot to send the recent bracelet winner to the rail.

"I have the Lady Gaga," Lin said, moving his queen along the board as the turn came the 10♣. The river was the 5♣ and Lin made a running flush to scoop the pot.

"Someone take that sticker," his defeated opponent said about Lin's "No Gamble, No Future" banner.

"That's why I'm losing. I forgot to put out the sticker all day," Lin said as he doubled his short stack.

Pescatori Wins Without Showdown and Continues Chipping Up

A player under the gun raised and was called by the small blind and Max Pescatori in the big blind to see a flop of 9♠A♥J♣.

Pescatori bet when checked to and both the under-the-gun player and the small blind called to an 8♣ turn card.

Pescatori bet out again and again found calls from both of his opponents, prompting the dealer to lay the 6♠ out on the river.

Once more, the small blind checked to Pescatori who bet for a third street, this time prompting folds from both of his opponents as he chips up nicely without showdown.
