Action was picked up on the flop in a pot between Isaac Haxton in the big blind and Biao Ding in early position.

The flop read J109 and Haxton checked over to Ding who bet 50,000. Isaac raised to 250,000 which Ding called.

On the J Isaac led out for 380,000 and after some time in the tank Ding moved all in for 1,100,000 effective. Haxton thought about it for a little bit but ended up calling and a massive pot was built.

Ding had flopped bottom two pair and was counterfeited on the turn jack, while Haxton flopped a queen-high straight and a straight flush redraw. The river came out an 8 and Haxton took down a monster pot at the expense of Ding.

The board ran out A8596 and Schulman found the six on the river to make two pair and survive in the tournament.

Foxen Slows Down Ponakovs

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised it up in middle position and Kristen Foxen called from the big blind. The flop came 772 and Foxen checked to Ponakovs who continued with a bet. Foxen check-raised and Ponakovs called.

The Q landed on the turn and Foxen fired out a bet of 130,000 into a pot of around 280,000. Ponakovs called and the 10 landed on the river. Foxen pushed forward a bet of 450,000 and Ponakovs dipped into the tank. Over a minute had passed and Ponakovs finally decided to dump his cards into the muck.

The turn was the 8 and Gonsalves checked once again. Von Kriegenbergh announced all in and Gonsalves was put to the test for his remaining 475,000 chips. He dipped into the tank for a couple of minutes but eventually decided to lay his hand down.

The action folded around to the blinds and Patrick Eskandar was the first to shove all in for around 400,000 in the small blind. Aleksejs Ponakovs quickly called from the big blind and the cards were face up.

The flop came AKQ and Ponakovs took the lead with a pair of aces. The K turn and the K river were no help to Eskandar as he exited the tournament.
