Jozoff Continues to Run Hot After Elimination of Hendrix

The action folded around to Adam Hendrix on the button who shipped all in for around 600,000. Michael Jozoff woke up with a premium in the small blind and called to put Hendrix at risk.

The board ran out J53105 and Hendrix was drawing dead by the turn after Jozoff picked up a set of tens.

Aido Takes From Vieira

Action was picked up in a hand on the turn with Sergio Aido in the small blind and Joao Vieira in the big blind with a pot containing 320,000.

The board read 9Q87 and Aido bet 220,000, which Vieira called.

On the river 2, Aido sized up to 655,000 which left him just one 5,000 chip behind. Vieira thought about it for a few seconds but tossed his hand into the muck, ceding the pot to Aido.

At another table, Thomas Boivin was eliminated.

Calvin Anderson just recently lost a big pot to Brian Rast and was left with just 450,000 chips. He then got the last of his chips in the middle against Roman Hrabec who barely had him covered.

The flop fell AA6 and Hrabec took a massive lead with trip aces. The 9 on the turn left Anderson drawing dead to the 8 on the river.

Meanwhile, at the feature table, Lander Lijo was seen exiting the tournament as well.

Maimone Flops a Pair to End Perez

Roberto Perez shoved all in for 375,000 from under the gun and the action folded around to Nick Maimone in the big blind. Maimone gave it some thought and eventually decided to make the call.

The flop came QJ4 and Maimone spiked a pair of jacks to take the lead. The 9 on the turn paired Perez, but it was not enough as the 7 completed the board.

Jozoff Wisely Checks Back

Michael Jozoff raised to 65,000 on the button and Paul Volpe called from the big blind. The flop fell A94 and Volpe check-called a bet of 30,000 from Jozoff.

The turn brought the 3 and Volpe checked again. Jozoff tossed in a bet of 75,000 and Volpe stuck around for the J on the river. Volpe checked for the third time and Jozoff checked it back. Volpe turned over A4 for two pair and Jozoff mucked his hand.
