Roberto Perez and Stephen Chidwick were heads-up in a pot with around 50,000 in the middle. The board read A♠4♣2♦5♣ and Perez led out with a bet of 22,000 from the small blind. Chidwick called on the button and the 2♣ paired the board on the river.

Perez fired out another bet of 28,000 and Chidwick used one of his time banks before pushing out a raise to 84,000, leaving just 500 chips behind. Perez quickly mucked his cards and Chidwick raked in the pot.

Spencer Puts a Dent in Mateos

The board read Q♦8♥4♣J♣4♦ and Adrian Mateos was the first to act in a heads-up pot with Lewis Spencer. Mateos checked to Spencer who pushed out a bet of 57,000, leaving himself with just a single chip behind.

Mateos thought for over a minute before making the call. Spencer rolled over 10♥9♥ for a straight and Mateos mucked his cards. Mateos was left with 33,000 chips after the hand but was seen exiting the tournament area just moments later.

Andrew Esposito raised to 4,500 in late position which saw Justin Zaki three bet to 14,000 in the hijack. Action folded back around to Esposito who moved all in for 29,000 which Zaki called.

The board ran out Q♣2♠8♠7♦9♦ and the set of Zaki was good for the pot as Esposito exited the tournament early in the day.

A completed board of 10♠4♦3♦K♦8♣ was spread across the felt with a little over 25,000 chips in the pot. Thomas Boivin checked from the small blind and Chris Lee made a bet of 22,000 from a couple of seats over.

Boivin check-raised to 70,000 and Lee dipped into the think-tank. After nearly three minutes had passed and five time banks later, Lee finally threw in the chips to call. Boivin flipped over 9♦7♦ for a flush and Lee conceded the pot.

The flop of Q♣J♦Q♥ saw action check through to the 7♣ turn where the initial raiser checked to Chen who bet 8,000 which was called.

Btoh players checked the 5♦ river and Chen turned over K♥K♠ for kings up which was good and Chen took down a pot.

Action was picked up on the flop in a small blind versus big blind pot between a player in the small blind and Artur Martirosian in the big blind.

On a flop of 5♥Q♦8♥, the small blind bet 2,000 and Martirosian called.

The turn of J♦ saw action check through and the river 3♦ saw the small blind check and Martirosian bet 5,500. His opponent called and Martirosian turned over J♥7♠ for a pair of jacks which was good for the pot as Martirosian took down the pot.

Picking up the action with the flop reading 6♠4♣2♣, the action was checked to the button who bet 5,500 into a pot of around 10,000. Isaac Haxton check-raised to 20,000 in middle position and the button just called.

The turn was the 7♠ and Haxton just ripped all in for 89,000. His opponent asked for a count and then called to put Haxton at risk. Haxton tabled K♥K♦ for an over pair but his opponent showed 6♥4♥ for two pair. However, the 7♥ paired the board on the river and Haxton made a better two pair in order to double up.
