Three players saw a flop of Q♦5♣2♦ and Shaun Deeb led out for 275,000. Aaron Ang was next to act and made the call before Alfred Atamian folded.
When the J♣ hit the turn, Deeb continued with aggression, firing 825,000 into the middle and Ang called.
As the 4♣ landed on the river, Deeb checked to Ang who shook his head and paused for a few seconds. Eventually, Ang asked the dealer how much was in the pot. The dealer responded with 3,900,000 and after about 20 seconds Ang slammed a stack of blues across the line as he said pot.
Deeb sighed in disappointment as he said, "Could not have been a worse river card."
A few moments went by before Deeb passed his hand back to the dealer, surrendering the pot.
Douglas Karabaz raised 360,000 in the small blind and Luis Pauyac-Martinez came along in the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of A♠10♦7♥. Karabaz jammed his remaining stack of about 600,000 across the line and Pauyac-Martinez only took a few seconds to let his hand go.
Jorge Ufano's heater continued when a short-stacked Giorgii Skhulukhia pushed all in from the small blind. Ufano called and the players turned over their cards.
All the chips got in the middle before the flop and Brian Smith was at risk for about 600,000.
Brian Smith: A♠A♥10♣7♠
Soheb Porbandarwala: J♥9♠8♦6♦
The dealer fanned a flop of Q♦7♥4♦, giving Porbandarwala a flush draw and straight draw and the J♣ turn paired his jack. The A♦ river improved Smith to a set of aces, but Probandarwala's flush sent him to the payout desk.
Douglas Karabasz raised to 420,000 in the hijack before Kevin Rand three-bet to 1,320,000 in the big blind. Karabasz put in a fourth bet as he announced all in for about 2,700,000 and was quickly called.
Douglas Karabasz: A♣K♠J♣J♥
Kevin Rand: A♠A♦7♦2♠
The dealer spread a flop of 10♠7♠6♦, giving Rand a flush draw to go along with his aces. The K♣ paired Karabasz king on the turn but he couldn't improve as the 3♠ river completed Rand's flush.
Dewayne Wheeland raised to 360,000 from the hijack and Jesse Yaginuma three-bet shoved from the cutoff for 780,000. The action folded back to Wheeland who quickly made the call with the bigger stack before flipping over his hand.
