Path to Victory
Altman came into the final table with about 35 percent of the chips in play and seemed to make all the right moved to continue extending that lead. A key hand developed early in the final table when three premiums were dealt to Chris "Glive" Ginley, Zachary "Kings702" Grech, and Altman. Altman's was the best of the three, with pockets kings against queens and tens. That hand not only eliminated two opponents, but gave Altman more than half of the chips in play.

Bump in the Road
Once play made its way to heads up between Altman and Eric "Stackattack5" Salazar, it looked as if Altman would continue his smooth sailing to the top spot on the podium. However, Salazar flopped trips when Altman made top pair and evened out the two player's stacks quickly. That was the last time the stacks would be close, though, After that hiccup, Altman turned on the gas and sealed the victory about half an hour later.

Congratulation to Brian "JackBogle" Altman on winning his maiden WSOP bracelet!
