Jimmy D'Ambrosio opened to 3,200 from middle position and and was called by Steve Zolotow out of the big blind.
Zolotow checked on a flop of and then called after D'Ambrosio tossed out 700, saying it was "just a little feeler". Though technically an illegal bet, no one at the table alerted the dealer to this fact and play continued to the turn.
The turn put three to a straight on the board and Zolotow checked for a second time. D'Ambrosio did not slow down, sizing up to 5,000. Zolotow again flatted.
Action checked through the river and Zolotow turned over for the turned straight, good enough to take down the pot. The river may have cost him some value, however, a point he made as he raked in his newly acquired chips.

Chance Kornuth and Alex Keating went heads-up to the turn on a board of . Kornuth, in the big blind, bet 12,000 and Keating called.
The river came the and Kornuth piled in the rest of his 37,700. Keating didn't take too long before giving up his hand.
"If he's bluffing I don't want to see it," Keating said, turning away from the table as Kornuth returned his cards, face down, to the dealer.
"Nobody saw it," a tablemate reassured him.

Uri Reichenstein, who finished in fourth place in this event a year ago, was facing a 20,000 raise on a flop of .
Reichenstein went into the tank for several minutes, uncapping his cards and taking one last look at them before shoving all in for his last 44,000. His opponent nearly beat him into the pot and showed for flopped trips.
Reichenstein had and was in danger of seeing his tournament come to an end before the fell on the turn, improving him to a full house. The river came the harmless and Reichenstein doubled up.

Calvin Anderson opened to 2,200 from under the gun and received a sole call out of the big blind.
Both players checked through the flop to the turn where the big blind checked for a second time. Anderson then tossed 2,000 into the pot and was called.
The river saw the big blind check once more and Anderson, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, bet 7,000. His opponent seemed suspicious but did end up releasing his hand to keep Anderson chipping up.

Players have been sent on their first 15-minute break of the day. They will return to blinds of 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante.
A player in early position opened to 1,800 and was called by the player one seat over. The cutoff player then moved all in for 12,100 and Daniel Smiljkovic in the big blind called. The initial raiser, after some thought, re-jammed and the player one seat over with a "I shouldn't do this" made the call. Smiljkovic responded by pushing his chips into the middle with the covering stack to set up a four-way all in.

With his opponents all blocking each other to an extent, Smiljkovic had the most equity heading to the flop. The flop came giving the middle position player, who by his own admission had made a light call, the nut flush draw and the best opportunity to take down a huge pot. The turn changed nothing, with the middle position player asking "for a club, one time". His one time was used in vain, however, as the river completed the board, propelling Smiljkovic into what is likely the chiplead as well as sending three $3,000 bounty chips his direction, meaning that, in the event that he does not cash, he will still only take a small loss on his initial investment. Smiljkovic is on something of a heater after final tabling the Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 NLH Championship earlier this week.
