Queens No Good For Gropt, Very Good for Crane

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action was caught when two players went all in on a {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop.

Tom Gropt: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Quoc Nguyen: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Nguyen caught a set on this flop, with almost 120,000 in the pot and after a {9-Clubs} turn and a {2-Diamonds} river, he secured a double up.

On the very next hand, Nguyen is first to act and decided to limp. In the cutoff, David Crane made it 2,200 and Nguyen was the only one to call.

Then on a {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Nguyen check-called 1,700 before he check-called again on a {4-Spades} turn, for 6,600.
A {7-Clubs} on the river completed the board and both players checked.

David Crane showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} and that was the winning hand. Quoc Nguyen could not show better than {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Pecheux Makes His Set Profitable

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

In early position, Erwann Pecheux opened to 1,200, the player in the cutoff called, and so did George Dimitriadis in the big blind.

All three players checked the {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop. Then a {j-Diamonds} came on the turn and Pecheux bet 3,500. Only Dimitriadis called to see the river {5-Hearts}.

Pecheux bet 5,500 and Dimitriadis, who quickly checked, also quickly called here.

Georges Dimitriadis: {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Erwann Pecheux: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

With a set on the flop, against two pair for Dimitriadis, Pecheux took the pot.

Marczywski Cracks Aces

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

First to act, Michael Pineau opened and Jenny Marczywski just called on the very next seat. Four more players also called and they were six to the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop.

Pineau bet 4,500 and Marczywski raised to 10,000. Pineau was the only player to call.

The {q-Clubs} landed on the turn and Pineau checked. He had to face a 10,000 bet from Marczywski, and decided to answer with two words: "All in".

Marczywski quickly called; she was the one at risk.

Jenny Marczywski: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Pineau: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

With a set of queens making queens-full on the turn, Marczywski cracked aces, and after a {3-Clubs} on the river, she scored a big double up.

Cabatu's Kicker Good; Herrera Eliminates A Player

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a raise to 1,300 from Paul Herrera, Dan Goodman called, as did another player on the button. Then, from the big blind, Santiago Cabatu raised to 4,600. Goodman called and so did the button.

The flop of {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} prompted a bet of 3,000 by Cabatu, before Goodman raised to 9,000. After a fold from the button, action was back on Herrera and he just shoved for about 24,000. Goodman made the call.

Santiago Cabatu: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Dan Goodman: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Battle of top pair for both players, and after a {7-Spades} turn and a {9-Clubs} river, Cabatu scored the double up with his ace kicker.

On the very next hand, with 22,600 at the start of the hand, this cutoff went all in after a raising war with Paul Herrera.

Cutoff: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Paul Herrera: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Herrera's tens were good to eliminate his opponent.

Boat Over Boat For Mazza

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a raise from a player in middle position, both Sylvain Mazza and Terry Fleischer called in the blinds.

On a {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop, the players in the blinds checked and the original raiser bet 1,500, getting called by both players.
The turn was a {q-Hearts} and all three players checked to see the river {j-Clubs}.

This time, Mazza bet 4,500 and Fleischer raised to 11,500. The original raiser folded but not Mazza, who called very quickly.

Fleischer showed {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a full house but Mazza showed {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a better full house, and he collected a nice pot.
