Henderson Flops Top Two, Doubles Up

Nível 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Johnny Henderson opened to 13,000 from early position and was called by both the cutoff and the button.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Henderson checked over the the cutoff who bet 35,000. The button folded and Henderson put his remaining 42,000 in front of him. The cutoff called off for 7,000 more.

Johnny Henderson: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Henderson brutally outflopped the slow-played ace-king and was two cards away from earning a crucial double up.

The {3-Diamonds} turn did nothing, while the {9-Clubs} river get Henderson the full double.

Harris Doubles Up to Stay Alive

Nível 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Harris was down to his last four big blinds and after the under the gun player opened, Harris put his 20,000 in front of him. The under the gun player called for a few thousand.

Richard Harris: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Under the Gun: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Harris took the lead on the {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop, with both players getting a piece.

Tomorrow Never Dies

Nível 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jeff Bond
Jeff Bond

Jeff Bond is no longer seated at his table.

It appears that he squeezed into the money with his short stack but busted shortly after.

Although he is out of this tournament, this likely isn't the last time we see Mr. Bond.

Two Players to Share the Bubble Cash

Nível 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

At two separate tables, the big blind was forced all in for their last 5,000 chips before they could look at their cards.

At one table, Stephen Baze flat called from the cutoff and everyone else folded.

Big Blind: {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Stephen Baze: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to have the big blind dead on the turn.

Two tables over, Leo Whitt called from the button with only a couple thousand behind. The small blind also called.

The two players checked down the {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board and the big blind thought he had survived with his {a-}{j-}.

The small blind had a meager {8-Clubs}{6-Spades} but Whitt flipped over {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for top two pair.

Both eliminated players were forced to share the 401st-place bubble cash, each recouping $800.50 of their $1,000 entry.
