Kohichi Manago Eliminated in 10th Place ($22,176)

Nível 36 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Kohichi Manago
Kohichi Manago

Jon Van Fleet opened from under the gun for 1,200,000. Kohichi Manago, in middle position, moved all in with 7,100,000 behind. Action folded back around to Van Fleet, who went into the tank.

"Online I'd never even think about folding this, but you seem so happy about your hand," Van Fleet said. Eventually, Van Fleet pushed forward a stack of chips, making the call, and putting Manago at risk.

Kohichi Manago: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Jon Van Fleet: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Van Fleet's read about Monago's happiness was right, and he found himself dominated. The {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} didn't change much, but the turn put the {q-Spades} on the board, putting Van Fleet ahead, and sending the rail into an uproar. The {2-Spades} river locked up the pot for Van Fleet, and put him neck and neck with Alex Jim for the chip lead.

Monago went around the table to wish each player luck and bump fists, still in high spirits despite the elimination. Several players throughout the day have commented on how much they enjoyed playing with Monago, who will take home a cash of $22,176 for his 10th place finish, nearly four times his career live earnings (per Hendon Mob) of $6,007.

Reichel Lucky to Double

Nível 36 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Frank Reichel moved all in from early position for 6,900,000. Action folded to John Ypma in middle position who moved all in for 15,600,000. Tsuf Saltsberg went deep into the tank in the cutoff before folding. The rest of the players folded and Reichel was at risk.

Frank Reichel: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
John Ypma: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Reichel was behind and needed help. The flop came {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} giving Reichel extra outs as well as backdoor chop opportunities as neither player had a spade. However the {j-Diamonds} on the turn gave Reichel trips and put him firmly in control. The river of the {a-Spades} was overkill as Reichel could barely believe it himself while Ypma looked on in disbelief and frustration.

Marcus' River Bet Takes it Down

Nível 37 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Daniel Marcus opened to 1,200,000 from the cutoff, getting calls from Jon Van Fleet, the small blind, and Alex Jim, the big blind.

The trio checked through the {2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop before Marcus fired another 1,700,000 on the {j-Hearts} turn. Van Fleet made the call while Jim folded.

On the {7-Clubs} river, Marcus fired for around 3,300,000. After a moment or two, Van Fleet pushed his cards towards the muck, giving the pot to Marcus.

Despite this, Van Fleet's stack has continued to grow, overtaking Alex Jim for the chip lead.

Saltsberg Wins Massive Flip

Nível 37 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

John Ypma raised from middle position to 1,600,000. Tsuf Saltsberg moved all in from the hijack for 14,500,000. Ypma went deep into the tank before calling, slightly covering Saltsberg.

Tsuf Saltsberg: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
John Ypma: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

It was a huge flip Ypma called for his one time. However, it didn't come as the board ran out king-high {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Clubs} leaving Ypma with less than a big blind and giving Saltsburg a massive double up.
