Becker Takes All From Negreanu in Two Hands

Nível 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Omaha Hi-Lo

Johannes Becker raised from under the gun and Daniel Negreanu three-bet on the button for Becker to call. On the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, Becker bet and Negreanu raised to receive a call from his opponent. That left Negreanu with exactly two big bets behind and he invested one of them on the {7-Spades} turn when Becker bet and he called.

Becker also instantly bet the {4-Hearts} river and Negreanu was stunned.

"It has been like this all day, get to 400k and have to grind it all back ..." Negreanu sighed as he sunk back into his chair. After mulling it over for another thirty seconds, he let go and was left with one big blind.

In the very next hand, Negreanu was all-in from the cutoff via the open raise and Becker called out of the big blind.

He was about to grab his selfie stick to record the action but his assistant was already there as the cards were exposed.

Daniel Negreanu: {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Johannes Becker: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

"Alright, we go for the low and they go for the high," Negreanu mentioned for his upcoming vlog. There was not much help on the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop but the {6-Diamonds} turn was huge for Negreanu. He asked for another low card and that indeed came but it was the {6-Clubs} river that paired the board.

Negreanu grabbed his equipment and joked "selfie stick in hand just to be safe" before heading to the rail, while Becker raked in the pot with a chuckle.

Friedman Firing it Up

Nível 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Seven Card Stud

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {x-}{x-}/{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Scott Bohlman: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs} - folded fifth street

Picking action up on fourth street, Koray Aldemir bet and was called by Scott Bohlman. Adam Friedman then raised and was called by both opponents.

On fifth, Friedman picked up an ace to get the betting lead and did just that. Aldemir called, but Bohlman folded.

On sixth street, Friedman bet again now pairing his seven, which elicited a fold from Aldemir.

Kenney Patted to the Rail by Seidel

Nível 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Bryn Kenney raised to 50,000 from under the gun and Erik Seidel then pushed out of the big blind. Kenney mulled it over before calling all-in for around 400,000 as he flicked in the sole remaining T-25,000 he had left over.

Once Seidel patted, Kenney was pained for a few seconds but that may have also been the result to the massage he was receiving at the same time. Ultimately, Kenney patted it back and the cards were revealed.

Seidel turned over an {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{4-} and Kenney asked the dealer to check which card he would have received if he had broken up his hand. That happened to be the {a-Diamonds} as his ten-eight ended up second-best.

Wheel vs Number Two Saves Dzivielevski

Nível 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Action was caught on the final betting round with several hundred thousand already in the middle.

Yuri Dzivielevski checked from the big blind to Taylor Paur who bet under the gun.

Dzivielevski slid forward a tower of the last of his red T-5,000 chips, totaling 130,000. Paur called to see Dzivielevski show {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a wheel, coolering Paur who showed {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for number two.

No Miracle Comeback for Williams

Nível 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
David Williams
David Williams

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

David Williams was forced all-in for 40,000 out of the big blind after he had lost the vast majority of his stack just before the break. Benny Glaser raised from under the gun and all other players folded.

After checking all his cards one by one, Williams discarded four "paint cards" while Glaser took one new card. Both then took one each after the second draw and did so again for the final draw to turn over their cards.

David Williams: {8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Benny Glaser: {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}

"Just catch a six so I don't have to worry about it," Williams joked and Glaser turned over a deuce to pair up. Any non-pair would save Williams but he also paired the {8-} to hit the rail.

Ashton Jams Into Kelsall

Nível 15 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Andrew Kelsall opened to 35,000 in the cutoff and Matthew Ashton in the small blind three-bet to 125,000. Once the action was back on Kelsall, he made it 335,000 to go and Ashton then gave it some two minutes of consideration before pushing all-in.

Now it was up to Kelsall to go into the tank and he eventually settled on a fold.
