Within two hands, the short stack of Lou Garza was reduced to zero and he has become the tenth place finisher.
He first defended the big blind against a raise by Benny Glaser and check-called the 
flop. On the 
turn, Garza checked again with 210,000 behind and Glaser bet again. Garza sigh-folded and exposed a jack-high combo with diamonds.
"Was I drawing dead?" he asked and Glaser replied "no, but I had a very good hand ... ace five nine."
One hand later, Dan Cates raised on the button and Garza reluctantly moved in from the small blind for Naoya Kihara in the small blind and Cates to call. Kihara check-called a bet on the
