Day 1 Chipleader's Team Phan Eliminated Against Team Yunis

Nível 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Team Phan/Trina
Team Phan/Trina

Peter Phan of Team Phan shoved his last 85,000 in the middle from the cutoff and Nick Yunis of Team Yunis called in the big blind.

Team Phan: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Team Yunis: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Phan had two live cards but the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop was bad news. The {9-Clubs} hit the turn, giving Phan a flush draw. Yunis called for the club for his opponent but the {2-Spades} on the river was no help as the Day 1 chip leader's Team Phan were sent to the payout desk.

Team Crutel Hit the Rail as They Can't Connect

Nível 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Samuel Phillips of Team Phillips raised to 26,000 in early position and the action folded around to Quentin Crutel of Team Crutel in the small blind who jammed for roughly 150,000. Pedro Arroyos folded in the big blind and Phillips dropped a stack in to make the call.

Team Crutel: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Team Phillips: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Crutel had live cards but the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop was no help. The {9-Hearts} hit the turn, with Crutel not picking up any extra equity, the {2-Hearts} river was a brick and Team Crutel was sent to the payout desk.

Team VanKeuren's Kings Make a Flush

Nível 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Zachary VanKeuren of Team VanKeuren raised to 26,000 in the small blind and Quentin Crutel of Team Crutel called in the big blind.

Both players quickly checked on the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and the {10-Hearts} hit the turn where VanKeuren check-called a bet of 21,000.

The {2-Hearts} brought in the fourth heart and VanKeuren checked once again, which was followed up by a quick check.

"I win," Said VanKeuren as he tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, making the nut flush on the river.

Team Gaspard on a Heater

Nível 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Team Cada got it all in against Jean Gaspard of Team Gaspard, with Team Cada at risk.

Team Cada: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Jean Gaspard: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

While he was ahead preflop, the flop of {6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades} was an immediate blow to Team Cada, who looked defeated until the {k-Hearts} hit on the turn which swung him back in the lead with a set of kings.

"Heart!" Gaspard yelled as there were now four hearts on the board and he held the ace of hearts.

And in a sick turn of events the {9-Hearts} came down on the river for Gaspard to win with the nut flush and Team Cada was eliminated.
