Other teams that survived Day 2 include Jeff Lennon and Deborah Wall of Team Lennon, Team Leonard, and the duo of Corey Paggeot and Jamie Kerstetter.

Day 1 hotshots Veronica Brill and K.L. Cleeton of Team Cleeton unfortunately did not make it far into Day 2 as they started very short-stacked and couldn’t get anything going. Peter Phan and Jeffrey Trina of Team Phan started off the day with the chip lead but were eliminated late in Level 19 to Nick Yunis and Reynel Hernandez of Team Yunis. The duo of Jerod Smith and Melissa Bryne made it deep into the day but were eliminated when their pocket kings lost to Team Kraemer's ace-jack due to an ace on the river.

Day 3 will commence on Tuesday, June 28 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time and will play down to a winning team. Each member of the winning team will earn $74,033 and a WSOP bracelet.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team will be back tomorrow to report on the tournament action.
