Everybody Loves a...

Nível 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Manuel Machado
Manuel Machado

Manuel Machado was heads up from the cutoff against the middle position player Arthur Schiavo. Schiavo joked that PokerNews should definitely record the hand as they both checked the flop and turn on {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Though when the {q-Spades} came in to complete the board on the river, Schiavo lead out for 7,000 and Machado raised to around 30,000. Shiavo made the call and both players let out a laugh as they both turned over {k-}{q-} for a chop.

You know what they say?

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Jeff Madsen had opened under the gun and was called by Justin Brooks, who's playing in his first WSOP event, a lifelong dream of his. Now he gets to say he played with the pro's, too.

The small blind called and the three saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Madsen then moved all in for 130,000 or so and Brooks and the small blind folded.

Hoang Flipping Well

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Reuben Hoang had action folded around to him after the under-the-gun player moved all in for 42,000. He flipped his cards and revealed his hand before putting a stack of red 5,000 chips in to call.

Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Reuben Hoang: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board wasn't a decent one for Hoang, who hit a straight and faded the board pairing on {9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Spades}

River Magic For Friedman

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Perry Friedman
Perry Friedman

Perry Friedman was all in preflop against one opponent for their 80,000 stack. Friedman still had to call off a significant percentage of his stack and it was a cooler when cards were flipped.

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Perry Friedman: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to give Friedman top boat against his opponent, who took his exit with grace.

''That's the second time I've cracked aces in this tournament'' said Friedman, as he munched on a snack.
