Crofutt Doubles Up with Pocket Tens

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Preflop action landed on Adam Croffut in the hijack. He moved all in with 54,000 behind. Action folded back around to the player to his immediate right, who called. The players tabled their hands.

Croffut: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

With Croffut ahead but needing to dodge two over cards, the board ran out {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Not only did Croffut's tens hold, but he improved to a flush on the river.

Ruiz Takes Everything

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a raise in early position at 5,000, Angel Ruiz just called with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, so did the player in the cut-off.

Then action became crazy on a {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop : first player made a continuation bet to 5,000, Ruiz get an open-ended and an overpair and called, before the last player announced all-in for 35,000.

The first player went also all in for 65,000 and Ruiz made the call, covering both players.

The first player showed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for an overpair meanwhile the player on the button had {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pairs.

If the turn {2-Diamonds} is a blank, this is not the same story with the river {5-Spades} which gave, to the player from Spain, a straight.
He knocked down two players and now has a decent stack.

All Tables Broken at Paris

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

All of the players in the field are now in Bally's after all tables have been broken at Paris.

Currently, 3841 players have entered into Day 1b of The House warming with fifteen minutes of late registration left.

Deeb Puts His Opponent to the Test

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb raised to 6,000 from the button and the player in the big blind three-bet to 25,000. Deeb came along and the flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

The big blind led for 20,000 and Deeb quickly called. The turn brought the {j-Clubs} and the big blind checked. The five-time WSOP bracelet winner moved all in for his last 32,000 and the big blind quickly gave it up.

Reis Wins Massive Pot Multi-Way

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Rafael Reis
Rafael Reis

Rafael Reis just won one of the biggest pots of the day thus far. PokerNews got to the table as cards were on their backs on a flop, but he informed us of the pre-flop action.

Apparently, after the under the gun player limped for 2,500, Reis made it 6,000. The small blind then flat called and the under the gun limper then made it 22,000. Reis called and so did the small blind.

To a flop of {4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}, the small blind jammed all-in for 48,000. The under the gun player then re-shoved for the rest of his stack and Reis called, putting both other players at risk.

Rafael Reis {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Small Blind {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Under the Gun {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Reis was ahead and in great shape. The {q-Hearts} turn and {q-Clubs} river kept him that way and he knocked two players out whilst ascending to the top of the chip counts.

Amorim Flops Middle Pair to Take Down Pot

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} with 28,000 in the middle. Jamie Amorim checked in the small blind. His opponent followed suit from the button.

The {10-Hearts} came on the river. The button tried to buy the pot, firing 16,000 into the middle. Amorim thought for a few moments, before making the call.

"Good call" remarked his opponent, who showed {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Amorim showed {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, good for a pair and the pot.

Kasic's Flush Secures The Triple-Up

Nível 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up after an early position player moved all-in for 56,500 and was then re-shoved by Sejo Kasic for 60,000. It folded around to Michael Steinberg who called covering both players.

Sejo Kasic {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Michael Steinberg {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Opponent {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} giving Kasic a flush-draw.

When the {6-Diamonds} peeled on the turn it was Kasic now well in the lead. The {8-Clubs} river could not help Steinberg and Kasic was able to secure the triple-up and knock out the other opponent.

Zhang Chipping Back Up

Nível 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Players cards were on their backs with Jiarong Zhang all-in for his last 31,000 and his {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} was in good shape against his opponents {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Sure enough, the at risk Zhang was happy to see the clean {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} run out and doubled up.
