Katie Lindsay Takes The Control

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Katie Lindsay
Katie Lindsay

We caught Katie Lindsay, from the button, all in for 50 000, on a {9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, after a bet from the cutoff.

The only player in the big blind finally called to create a showdown. Lindsay showed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and was ahead {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for her opponent.

With the {7-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river, she finally completed more than a full double up.

Meanwhile in the rail, Chris Moorman was very happy for the double up of his wife.

"About me ? I just shoved ace-three and a guy tank call me with ace-king. But hey, see you tomorrow for day 1B!"

Lazarowitz's Kings Hold, Bust Opponent

Nível 14 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action folded to the cutoff who wasted little time in getting his last 100,000 into the middle. Michael Lazarowitz, the small blind, had the cutoff easily covered, and moved all-in himself. The big blind got out of the way for the other two players to showdown.

Lazarowitz: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Cutoff: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Lazarowitz was able to dodge the ace, as the board ran out {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}, securing the pot for Lazarowitz, and knocking out his opponent.

Action picked up on a board of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} with James Romero betting 205,000 from the hijack when checked to him, effectively putting his opponent all-in if called.

His opponent went well into the tank and after having the clock called on him he eventually laid down his hand saying "I really wish I called".

Cold Deck Favorable for Tea

Nível 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Eric Tea moved all-in from the cutoff over a 16,000 chip open from Stephen Moss in the middle position. With his last 130,000 at risk, the small blind then moved all-in too and Moss got out of the way.

It was the right side of a cold deck for Tea, who flipped over his {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} proudly. He was at risk as his opponent had him covered, and tabled his {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Luckily for Tea, the jacks couldn't improve as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The slick Frenchman is making moves in the right direction.

Outside of that hand, Moss continues to run things at the table with one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Spotts Rivers a Royal Flush

Nível 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With around 60,000 in the middle, three players saw the {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. Action was checked all the way around.

The turn came the {k-Hearts}. Alan Spotts bet 31,000 from the small blind. The under-the-gun player got out of the way as the cutoff made the call.

The {a-Hearts} river prompted an all-in move by Spotts, who had his opponent covered. That opponent quickly called with his remaining chips, around 70,000. The players showed their cards.

Spotts: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The cutoff's top two were no good as Spotts hit his runner-runner royal flush draw, dragging down the pot of over 250,000

Nova Scotia Native Makes A Boat

Nível 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action picked up with an open from under the gun to 25,000. It folded around to Kevin Dawe in the big blind who called.

The flop of {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} was an action one when Dawe check-jammed after a bet of 40,000, enough to cover his opponents roughly 160,000 stack. He was eventually called and the hands were tabled.

Kevin Dawe {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Opponent {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The turn sealed the deal with {j-Clubs} and the inconsequential river came the {4-Spades} securing the full house for Dawe and sending the opponent to the rail.
