The third day of Event #49: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the 2022 World Series of Poker is set to kick off at 1 p.m. local time in the Bally's Event Center.

Yesterday Lucas Tabarin finished at the top of the counts with 4,240,000 chips, good for exactly 106 big blinds coming into Day 3. He has $302,947 total live earnings and a ton of deep runs in events throughout his home country of Brazil, including a 2nd place finish in the WSOP International Circuit R$ 2,500 No Limit Hold'em - Six Handed, but is still looking to capture that elusive first WSOP bracelet.

Close on his heels is newcomer Jack Corrigan, who before finishing 14th in Event #21: $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Monster Stack two weeks ago for $47,431, only had $1,402 in live tournament earnings. Corrigan will start the day with 3,910,000 for 98 big blinds.

Another notable to look out for is Eddy Sabat, who despite having over $3,500,000 in live tournament earnings is still chasing his first WSOP bracelet. Sabat made a late night surge as he had roughly 400,000 with 20-minutes remaining on the day. Sabat ran his kings into jacks and the flop revealed a jack but on the turn he found the king he needed to stay alive and propel his stack forward. He will resume play with 1,605,000.
