Bayern Does Not Split

Nível 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action was caught on a {k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} board, which made a straight for both players.

The pot was not that big, maybe 4,000, because it was checked all around, and Bayern just tossed a red 5,000 chip into the table on the river.

Revell laught at it and snap-called, probably thinking both players were going to split, but when Keith Bayern showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, for a nut flush, Jeffery Revell finally had to muck that hand.

"No worries", he confessed, "I've made quad Queens on the flop just before!"

Vela Gets the Knockout

Nível 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Michael Vela opened from early position with a raise to 1,500. A reraise to 4,000 came from middle position, and Vela was the only caller.

On the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Vela check raised from 4,500 to 11,000 and got a call.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Vela's opponent moved all in. Vela could hardly contain himself, putting in his calling chips at essentially the same time as his opponent put in his own.

Opponent: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Michael Vela: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Both players had made a flush, but Vela had the nuts. He scooped the pot while his opponent headed for the rail.

Filarski "Finally" Wins Big Pot to Get Over Starting Stack

Nível 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player in early position raised to 1,600 and was called by the hijack, David Filarski in the cutoff, and the big blind.

The flop came {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and the early-position player bet 3,000 and was called by the hijack. Filarski then went all-in for his last 12,100. The big blind folded, early position called, and the hijack got out of the way.

David Filarski: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Early Position: {9-Spades}{7-Spades}

While both players were on a flush draw, the early position player was slightly in the lead, a 60% favorite, with his pair of nines.

The {a-Diamonds} turn put Filarski way out in front, with his opponent needing a nine or a seven on the river.

The river brought the {3-Spades}, giving Filarski the nuts and him reason to boast about "finally" getting a hand to go his way.

Humphries Doubles Up with Two Pair

Nível 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

With roughly 7,500 already in the middle on the {9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board, the cutoff put in a bet of around 5,000.

Gary Humphries shoved for 32,000 and the cutoff made a crying call, saying that he knew he was beat but he has too many outs.

Gary Humphries: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Though the cutoff was behind with kings and a flush draw against Humphries' two pair, he still had roughly a 36% chance to hit his river.

However, it wasn't to be as the {10-Hearts} rolled off, giving Humphries the full double up and leaving the cutoff with less than 2,000 chips behind.

Monk Avoids The Flush Draw

Nível 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

In early position, James Amor raised to 900. In middle position, Marty Gorenc three-bet to 3,900. Justin Monk in late position called and so did Amor. Three players went to the flop.

{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} Amor checked, Gorenc checked and it was Monk who bet 5,000. Amor answered to this, announcing all-in. He covered both of his opponents.

Gorenc thought about it before folding {j-}{j-} according to him, but Monk called, for his last 47,000.

Justin Monk: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
James Amor: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The turn was a {6-Diamonds} and the river a {j-Spades} and Justin Monk secured a double up. Meanwhile Gorenc would have made a full house on the river with his pair of jacks.

Rondon Eliminates Opponent With Pocket Aces

Nível 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

With over 40,000 already in the pot on a {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Aaron Rondon, from the cutoff, forced his small-blind opponent all-in.

The small blind, who had around 20,000 left in his stack, shrugged his shoulders and made the call as if he knew what was coming.

Small Blind: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Aaron Rondon: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

Rondon's aces were good enough to eliminate the small blind and send his chip stack over the 90,000-chip mark.

Wait For The River

Nível 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Two players were all in when action was picked up. It was Verdegaal who was at risk for his last 16,000 against Xavier Zofine on a {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop.

Martin Verdegaal: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Xavier Zofine: {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The turn was a {3-Spades} and Verdegaal celebrated his nut flush. Perhaps it was a classic case of karma, as the {5-Hearts} landed on the river to improve Zofine to a full house and eliminate Verdegaal.
