The flop gave the opponent a gutshot straight draw. "I hope you make a set," he told Wright, as the king would complete his straight. The paired the board before the hit on the river. The opponent had gotten his wish, Wright had made a set and he had completed his straight, but the paired board gave Wright a full house, enough to beat his opponent's Broadway straight, and send him to the rail.
