Waigel's Stack Continues to Grow

Nível 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With a board of {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and 260,000 in the middle, big blind Ezekial Waigel checked to Taylor Black in the cutoff. Black bet 150,000 which sent Waigel in to the tank before shoving forth a 2,000,000 stack which would put Black all in.

Black ultimately decided to fold, sending the Day 2 chip leader's stack over 5,000,000.

Paraskevas Tsokaridis

In a blind on blind altercation, Paraskevas Tsokaridis called a bet of 275,000 from Justin Bond on the board of {5-}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}, with at least 150,000 in the pot prior to the bet.

Bond turned over {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, but Tsokaridis tabled {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for rivered two pair. He apologized to Bond saying ''I was not meaning to slowroll you'', but Bond quickly responded ''Oh no, no. Don't worry, I know you're thinking about whether to raise''.

Nível 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised on the button to 50,000 and after a minute, Patrick Sekinger shoved for 615,000 in the small blind. Schultz-Pedersen snap-called and they both revealed their cards:

Patrick Sekinger: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Johan Schultz-Pedersen: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Sekinger hit an ace on the turn during the {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} rundown, giving him two pair to double up.

Hu Does He Think He Is?

Nível 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Anthony Hu
Anthony Hu

Anthony Hu and Anthony Zinno filled PokerNews in on the action. After an early position raise from Danny Pyke, Daniel Reijmer called on the button. When it folded to Anthony Hu in the big blind, he moved all in covering both players.

Pyke, with 800,000 behind, folded, but Daniel Raijmer, sporting his patented bright purple Nintendo hat, called all in for his last 1,150,000. With cards on their backs, we were off to the races.

Daniel Reijmer: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Anthony Hu: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board of {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} was favorable to Hu, who hit his jack on the flop and held to knock out Reijmer.

Double Up for Fox

Nível 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Felipe Ketzer took his small blind option to raise all in for around 1,600,000 and everyone but the button, Elio Fox folded. Ketzer had Fox's 380,000 stack covered and the two flipped over their hands.

Elio Fox: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Felipe Ketzer: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board came down {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to give Fox the double up with a straight to the seven to stay in the game.

The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and this time Frank check-called a bet worth 25,000 from Waigel. On the {4-Clubs} turn, Frank led out for 90,000 and Waigel considered it for some time before folding.
