Play has come to a close on Day 2 of Event #46: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em. Only 46 players were able to find a bag for Day 3 and they will return tomorrow, June 23rd at 2 p.m. at which point play will continue until five players remain. Stay tuned for a full recap of the day's play to come.
Ben Diebold had moved in for his last 40,000 from the hijack and Johan Schultzpedersen called from the small blind and Robert Mizrachi called from the big blind.
''Take your time boys'', said Diebold, as he hoped if he lost he would make a ladder on the payouts.
The blinds both checked the flop.
When another fell on the turn, Schultzpedersen lead and Mizrachi instantly folded.
With no side pot Diebold said ''I'll be p***ed if I'm not ahead'', flipping over , which had Schultzpedersen's
in bad shape. The irrelevant
completed the board, tripling Diebold up and then some.

Elio Fox opened to 45,000 from under the gun and was called by Albert Nguyen one seat over. Action folded around to Kacper Piotrowski in the small blind who shoved all in for 600,000. The big blind got out of the way and Fox, after some consideration, just called. Nguyen let go of his hand and Piotrowski was officially at risk.
Kacper Piotrowksi:
Elio Fox:
Piotrowski was in dire straights and would need a lot of help to have any chance of making it through to Day 3. No help came on the flop or the
turn. The
was the final nail in the coffin, sending Piotrowski to the rail late on Day 2. Fox, on the other hand, surges above 2,000,000.

Anthony Hu has largely gone under the radar in the event so far, but he's quietly chipped up a very respectable stack as the day is in it's final hour.
PokerNews joined the hand on the river, where Hu had bet from the big blind into his cutoff opponent, Rui Bouquet, to the tune of 135,000 chips. With around 175,000 in the pot, Rui considered his options on the board before deciding on a fold.

Ting-Yi Tsai had opened under-the-gun to 40,000 and had the call from the hijack, Patrick Sekinger. Maximiliano Gallardo completed from the big blind and the flop fell .
Tsai continued when checked to and Sekinger called while Maximiliano got out of the way.
The turn slowed down the action, both players checked.
Same again on the river and Tsai tabled the
and asked Sekinger ''eights or nines?'', while Sekinger mucked his holding.

Ezequiel Waigel has been among the largest stacks in the room throughout the day and just took down another pot, this time against Elio Fox.
Fox opened to 50,000 on the button and Waigel defended his big blind.
The flop saw Waigel check to Fox, who led out for 40,000. Waigel made the call to send the two players to the turn.
Waigel opted to take over the betting lead on the turn, firing off 75,000. Fox thought for some time but did end up smooth calling.
The river did little to persuade Waigel to slow down as he counted out a stack of chips before pushing 135,000 into the middle. Fox thought long and hard but in the end decided he could not beat Waigel's hand and released his own.
