Phil Hui (2,675,000), who won the Poker Players Championship back in 2019, quietly hung around all day until a late surge put him in a good position to end the night.

Day 1 chip leader Joshua Stefansky used a steady approach to slowly climb up the leaderboard throughout the day. However, he busted late in the night to Dylan Weisman (5,660,000).

Weisman was atop the leaderboard all day long and will look to add another victory to his impressive resume. The Californian has $1.14 million in live tournament cashes, including a $112,000 score from a $50,000 buy-in PLO event in April this year.

David Williams (2,980,000) was down to 300,000 at one point during the day, but he rallied back big time to run it up and remains in contention.

The other remaining players are Charles Coultas (4,325,000), Shane Nardiello (4,725,000), David Prociak (6,400,000), Paul Fehlig (1,930,000), Dylan Smith (1,640,000), and Kao Saechao (1,820,000).

Follow all the live updates through the conclusion of this event, as well as our continuing coverage of the WSOP from its new home in the Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas.

Charles Coultas: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Battle of Davids Goes to Prociak

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
David Prociak
David Prociak

David Prociak raised to 200,000 from under the gun and David Williams three-bet the button 600,000. Prociak re-raised to 1,920,000 and Williams called.

The flop came {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Prociak shoved for his last 385,000, Williams called.

David Prociak: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}
David Williams: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-}{5-Clubs}

Prociak was in great shape with a set of aces and the turn {10-Clubs} gave him tens full as the meaningless {3-Clubs} hit the river.
