Friedman Takes Big Hit, Then Gets it Back

Nível 7
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

2-7 Triple Draw Lowball

Adam Friedman was forced to call a 23,400 bet from Troy Peace after believing Peace had only called his bet, but had instead said pot.

Peace stood pat on the final draw and Friedman drew two, then folded when Peace moved all in.

"Sorry about that," Peace said.

"I'm mad at myself," Friedman answered.

On the next hand, Friedman and an opponent got into a raising war that ended with his opponent all in for around 20,000.

The all-in player stood pat on all three draws, while Friedman drew one on the third draw. "He has an ace. If I don't win this one," Friedman said when his opponent showed {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Friedman turned over {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, then hit a jack on his last card to make a better low and knock out his opponent.

Nível 7

No-Limit Hold'em

Scott Bohlman limped in from the small blind and Yung Hwang raised to 1,000 from the big blind. Bohlman called and the flop was {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Bohlman check-raised to 3,500 when Hwang continued for 900. Hwang gave it a brief moment of thought before he tossed his hand in the muck to give up the pot.

Flachsbart Draws for a Knockout

Nível 7

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

A player in middle position open-shoved his last 3,200 and William Flachsbart three-bet to 10,000 from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and action was heads up. The middle position player stood pat and Flachsbart drew one.

Opponent: {10-}{9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}
William Flachsbart: {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} / {x-}

Flachsbart peeled an {8-} to make the number seven and send his opponent's ten-nine to the rail.

Campbell Keeps Crushing

Nível 7

Badacey

On the second draw, former WSOP Player of the Year Robert Campbell drew one, as did Kim Stone. Scott Seville drew two, and both Stone and Seville called when Campbell bet.

Campbell and Stone drew one on the final draw, while Seville stood pat. Campbell bet again and Seville quickly called. Stone folded.

Campbell turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a low and a Badugi, and Seville mucked.

"That's why you're the best," Stone said as Campbell eclipsed the 100,000-chip barrier.

David Williams: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}/{x-}

Lou Perrone bet on third street and was called by David Williams. Williams took the lead on fourth, then called when Perrone raised.

"Ace-king high," Williams said. Perrone showed two fives in the hole to win the pot.
