Tanita Eliminates Two Players On Verge Of Bubble

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With 28,000 in the middle and the board reading {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} after the flop, three players had their chips in the middle. The hijack was all in for 7,500 and the big blind was all in for 88,000. Robert Tanita on the button had both players covered.

Hijack: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Big Blind: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Robert Tanita: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Tanita was ahead with top pair top kicker, the big blind was up and down and the hijack had work to do. The board paired on the turn when the {3-Hearts} landed and the {a-Diamonds} on the river strengthened Tanita to top two pair to take down the pot and send his two opponents to the rail.

Distenfeld Sinks Smaller Boat

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Gershon Distenfeld
Gershon Distenfeld

On a three-way flop of {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, the big blind checked and the late position player bet the pot of 28,000. Gershon Distenfeld was on the button and tried to raise, but failed to put out enough chips so it was ruled as a call. The big blind then called as well, and the three of them saw the {2-Clubs} turn.

The big blind checked again, and the late position went all in for his last 3,000 in chips, but then Distenfeld bet the full pot of ~75,000, producing a fold from the big blind.

"You got eights full don't you? " Distenfefl's opponent asked as he showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Distenfeld replied by flipping over his hand {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for indeed a bigger boat of eights full of deuces.

The river was a meaningless {k-Diamonds} and Distnefel won the pot and eliminated his opponent.

Four-Way Car Crash Sees Anderson Quadruple Up

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Four players ended up with their chips in the middle. Calvin Anderson in the cutoff had the lowest stack with 16,500, followed by Jack Loraine in the hijack with 42,500.

Calvin Anderson: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Jack Loraine: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Early Position: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The big blind and early position were both in the lead preflop but canceled each other's pocket aces from improving. The flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} gave Anderson a wrap and Loraine a gutshot straight draw.

The case {10-Spades} came on the turn to give Anderson the nut straight and improved Loraine to a set of tens, leaving Early Position on a flush draw and the big blind drawing dead.

The {5-Clubs} river helped no one and Anderson gained a quadruple up and Loraine nearly enough doubled up.
