Thorpe Runs Into Broadway

Julien Martini raised it up from the cutoff and David Lieberman three-bet on the button. Mike Thorpe flat-called from the big blind and Martini came along as well.

The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the action checked to Lieberman who continued with a bet. Thorpe called and Martini quickly stepped aside.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Thorpe check-called another bet from Lieberman. The {j-Clubs} completed the board and Thorpe check-called one more bet. Lieberman tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a rivered straight and Thorpe mucked.

Bronshtein Takes a Pot

An early position player raised and Yuval Bronshtein flat-called on the button, while Ray Henson came along from the big blind.

Henson checked on the flop of {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the initial raiser bet. Bronshtein called while Henson folded. The player checked on the {7-Clubs} river and called a bet from Bronshtein.

The player checked again on the {a-Clubs} river and called another bet from Bronshtein, who tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} to win the pot with a pair of queens.

Shayesteh Scores a Double KO

Josh Arieh raised it up from under the gun and Amir Shayesteh three-bet from the cutoff. Dan Zack stuck in the last of his 7,000 chips from the small blind and Arieh called off his last 11,000 as well.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Shayesteh improved to a pair of tens, while Zack picked up a flush draw. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river bricked out, sending both Zack and Arieh to the rail.

Campbell Has the Better Ace-High

Eveslage check-called a bet from Campbell on the flop as well as the {5-Spades} on the turn. Both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the river Eveslage tabled {a-}{9-}. Campbell, however, held {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for the better ace-high to win the pot.

Cohen Gets Value

The cutoff raised and the action folded to Jonathan Cohen in the big blind, who three-bet. The cutoff called.

Cohen bet on the flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and his opponent raised. Cohen called. Cohen then checked on the {8-Clubs} turn and his opponent checked back.

Cohen led out with a bet on the {5-Diamonds} river and his opponent called.

"Ace-king," announced Cohen before showing {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to win the pot with top pair.

Zinno Joins the Latest Eliminations

David Litt raised it up from the cutoff and Anthony Zinno re-raised from the big blind, sticking in the last of his 16,000 chips. Litt called and the cards were tabled.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Zinno was still out front with his pocket jacks. However, the {q-Spades} on the turn gave Litt a pair of queens and the {a-Diamonds} on the river sent Zinno to the rail.

Underwood Calls Down Lieberman

Benjamin Underwood raised it up from the hijack and David Lieberman called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Lieberman checked to Underwood who threw in a bet. Lieberman check-raised and Underwood just called.

The {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Lieberman led out with a bet this time. Underwood called and the action was the same on the {k-Diamonds} river. Lieberman tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for complete air while Underwood held {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a full house.

Big Slick Good for Henson

Rast led out on the flop of {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Henson called. Rast bet out again on the {j-Clubs} turn and Henson again called. Rast bet a third time on the {9-Hearts} river and Henson called.

"Ace-queen," Rast announced before he tabled {a-Hearts}{q-}, which was no good against the top pair of Henson with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.
