Geary Finds Life

Georgios Sotiropoulos raised from middle position and received a single call from Justin Geary on the button.

Sotiropoulos drew one card to Geary's two and then bet out. Geary smooth called to send the players to the second draw.

On the second draw, Sotiropoulos again took just one card and Geary two. The three-time bracelet winner fired off a second bet, which was called by Geary.

The final draw saw Sotiropoulos take another card but this time Geary stood pat. Action checked through and Geary announced "perfect ten" before showing down . Sotiropoulos could not beat it and Geary raked in a much needed pot.

Hsiung Wins Battle of the Blinds

Action folded to Yufei Zhong in the small blind who limped. Kenny Hsiung checked his option in the big blind to send the players heads up to the initial draw.

Both players drew three cards. Zhong then checked to Hsiung, who fired out a bet. Zhong called.

On the second draw, Zhong and Hsiung each took one card. Action checked through to the final draw where again both players drew just one card. Zhong checked for a third time but Hsiung was not willing to go to a cheap showdown, instead putting out another bet. Zhong contemplated for a short amount of time before making the call. Hsiung showed and Zhong mucked.

On the final draw Ian Chan had showing to Gerhart's . Peeling the final card, Gerhart would need to catch a two or a three but instead hit a to send him straight to the cashier's cage.

Sotiropoulos check-raised Heafner's bet. Heafner called. Sotiropoulos stood pat while Heafner drew one.

Sotiropoulos bet and was called. The Greek stood pat again while Heafner drew one. Action went check check after the final draw and Sotiropoulos won with .

The very next hand Heafner raised from under the gun and Sotiropoulos called in the big blind. Both players drew two and Sotiropoulos led out. Heafner called. Sotiropoulos drew one while Heafner drew two. The Greek bet again and got the fold.

Glaser Gets a Fold

Benny Glaser raised from under the gun and was three-bet by Pawel Andrzejewski one seat over. Action folded back around to Glaser who made the call.

On the initial draw both players took two cards. Glaser led into Andrzejewski, who responded with a raise, which Glaser called.

The second draw saw Glaser take one while Andrzejewski stood pat. Glaser slowed down, checking to Andrzejewski who bet. Glaser again called.

The final draw saw Glaser take another card and Andrzejewski decline to draw. Glaser led out and, seeming to make a difficult decision, Andrzejewski laid his hand down, leaving himself just 40,000 behind.

Just a few hands later, Andrzejewski busted shortly before the dinner break.
