A player in middle position raised and was three-bet by Yueqi Zhu from the cutoff. Action folded back around to the middle position player, who called.
The player in middle position drew one card while Zhu drew two. Action then checked through to bring about the second draw.
This time the middle position player decided to stand pat while Zhu drew a single card. The player from middle position then led out and was called by Zhu.
On the final draw, the middle position player again stood pat and Zhu once more drew one card. Action went check-check and the middle position player showed 
. Zhu did not let go of his hand immediately but after some consideration determined that he could not beat the nine-eight and threw his hand away.
