Wasting little time, Zhong made the call. Altizer confidently showed {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and collected the pot, sending Zhong below 1,000,000.

In another hand, Altizer raised in the small blind and was three-bet by Hieu Luu in the big blind. She called. Altizer drew two while Luu drew one.

Altizer check-called Luu's bet and both drew one. Altizer then led out and was called. She stayed pat while Luu drew one. She checked to Luu who bet and she made the call. However, it was no good as Altizer mucked as Luu showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Luu Survives Again

Hieu Luu raised from under the gun and action folded to Von Altizer in the big blind, who defended.

The first draw saw both players take two cards after which Altizer checked to the initial raiser. Luu led out and Altizer called.

On the second draw, Altizer again drew two cards while Luu took just one. Altizer checked once more and Luu bet, leaving himself 20,000 behind. Pausing to look at her opponent's chip stack, Altizer remarked, "I guess I'm supposed to put you all in" before doing just that. Luu made the call for his tournament life.

Altizer took one during the final draw and Luu stood pat. Luu showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and Altizer revealed {8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Her last card was {10-} and Luu, stacking his chips, said "this is my seventh life," referencing how he span up a short stack on Day 2.

Luu took two cards on the initial draw while Zhong and Nesterenko both took one. Luu and Zhong checked to Nesterenko, who bet. The two other players made the call to keep action three-handed heading to the second draw.

On the second draw the drawing pattern was the same, with Luu taking two to Zhong and Nesterenko's one. This time action checked through to the third draw.

All players took just one card on the final draw. Luu led out, eliciting a fold from Zhong. Nesterenko pondered for a while before ultimately tossing in calling chips. Luu announced he had deuces and Nesterenko showed down {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{2-}, good enough to take the pot and leave Luu short.

The final draw saw Zhong take one card and Glaser stand pat. Glaser turned over {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} while Zhong revealed he held {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Peeking while slowly peeling his last card, Zhong told the table he had a "fifty-fifty" chance of hitting an eight or a seven that would send Glaser packing. When he eventually turned the card over it was a {7-} and the most experienced player left in the field made his exit.
