Seiver Ousted by Chidwick

Nível 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

With over 100,000 in the middle on a {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} completed board, Stephen Chidwick bet 35,000 in the big blind, and Scott Seiver moved all in from the hijack for 121,000 total. Chidwick thought about it and called.

Seiver could only show {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} which was no good against Chidwick's {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flush.

"Good luck guys," Seiver wished his opponents, as he made his exit from the table.

Lamb Dashes Above a Million

Nível 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heads-up to the {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} turn, Ben Lamb checked from under the gun. Dash Dudley made it 36,000 to go and Lamb tossed in calling chips after brief consideration. The {7-Diamonds} river completed the board and Lamb checked, Dudley then knuckled it back.

Lamb turned over the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush and Dudley nodded, then tapped the table in defeat before sending his cards into the muck.

"Donkey" Schwartz Doubles Through Duek

Nível 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The last hand before the break brought another all-in showdown.

Heads-up to the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} turn, Michael Duek bet the pot for 125,000 and Noah Schwartz went into the tank before he got his last 126,000 in. Duek instantly called and the cards were turned over.

Noah Schwartz: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Michael Duek: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

It was Schwartz who got there thanks to the {2-Hearts} river and after stacking his chips, he walked away from the table with the words "sometimes you gotta be a donkey".

Matakis Jams the River

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With over 120,000 in the middle on a {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, Ian Matakis was in early position and check-called for 25,000 against Roussos Koliakoudakis in middle position.

Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn to the {5-Spades} river and Matakis moved all in for about 70,000, causing Koliakoudakis to fold.

"That was a bluff," remarked Chance Kornuth at the table. "So humble not to show," he continued, as Matakis smiled and scooped the pot.

Galfond Pays Off Chidwick

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades} turn, Phil Galfond checked in the hijack and Stephen Chidwick bet 22,000 in the cutoff for Galfond to call. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Galfond check-called for another 45,000 and then mucked when Chidwick tabled the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for queens full of sixes.

Small Pot for Livingston

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With roughly 40,000 in the pot on a {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Alex Livingston check-called a bet of 16,000 in the big blind against Dash Dudley in the hijack, and both checked the {5-Hearts} turn and {q-Hearts} river.

Livingston tabled {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to claim the pot as Dudley mucked.

Showdown Pot for Wilke

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}, table big stack Emmanuel Sebag checked and Robert Wilke made it 27,000 to go in late position. Sebag came along and both then checked down the {7-Diamonds} turn as well as the {6-Spades} river.

As Wilke checked behind, he grabbed his cards high and exposed the {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} for queens and fours. That was good enough to win the pot, as Sebag tossed his cards into the muck.
