Gierse Eliminated on Money Bubble

Nível 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Marius Gierse
Marius Gierse

Marius Gierse got his 315,000 chips in from the small blind and was at risk against Punnat Punsri in the big blind.

Marius Gierse: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Punnat Punsri: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop left Gierse needing running cards against his opponent's two pair. The {j-Hearts} turn provided a glimmer of hope, but the {8-Hearts} completed the board to confirm Gierse's elimination on the money bubble.

Winter Doubles Through Deeb

Nível 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Sean Winter opened to 150,000 in the hijack and Shaun Deeb ripped all in from the big blind. Winter thought for a few seconds before calling off his stack of 1,135,000.

Sean Winter: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Shaun Deeb: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Winter was in front with the superior pocket pair and the board of {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} brought no issues to stop him from doubling up.

Schindler Finds a Bubble Double

Nível 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Jake Schindler raised to 150,000 in the cutoff, leaving only 25,000 behind. Marius Gierse jammed on the button, and Schindler called for his last chip.

Jake Schindler: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Marius Gierse: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Schindler needed to improve and did so on the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. The {3-Diamonds} turn left him needing to just fade a river ace, and the {6-Spades} completed the board to secure his double and leave Gierse short-stacked.

Michael Rocco
Michael Rocco

With roughly 300,000 in the pot on a {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Michael Rocco checked the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski bet 65,000 in the cutoff. Rocco then raised to 225,000 and Badziakouski jammed. Rocco briefly thought about it and called for his 1,040,000 chips.

Michael Rocco: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Mikita Badziakouski: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Rocco was ahead but at risk of elimination on the bubble. The {5-Clubs} turn brought in backdoor flush outs for Badziakouski, but the {4-Spades} river bricked out and secured the double for Rocco.

Koray Aldemir: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Schutten and Deeb Get Paid on the River

Nível 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Brekstyn Schutten limped in from the small blind and Dario Sammartino raised to 175,000 out of the big blind. Schutten called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Both players checked through to the {a-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} on the river.

Schutten finally tossed in a bet of 100,000 and Sammartino looked him up. Schutten tabled {8-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens and Sammartino mucked.

Next door, Mikita Badziakouski and Shaun Deeb were heads-up on a board reading {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Badziakouski led out for 175,000 from the big blind and Deeb called on his left.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Badziakouski checked this time. Deeb put together a bet of 310,000 and Badziakouski called. Deeb rolled over {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a rivered two pair and Badziakouski rolled his eyes as his cards went to the muck.
