Ohel Leaves Vieira Short

Nível 18

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Randy Ohel raised out of the small blind and Joao Vieira called in the big blind. After the first draw, Ohel bet and Vieira called for both to discard one card each. They checked to the final draw and took one each again. Ohel check-called and was good with the {k-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} as Vieira had paired his eight.

Diebold Raises Big on the River

Nível 18

No-Limit Hold'em

Ben Diebold, Jeff Madsen, and Nick Schulman checked down to the river on a board of {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Madsen opened the betting for 58,000 and Schulman called.

Diebold then announced a raise to 210,000 and Madsen quickly folded. Schulman, thought, took his time before deciding to call.

"Got it," Diebold said, turning over {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for flopped trips. Schulman took one final look at the board before mucking.

Mark Gregorich: {x-}{x-}/{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}/{x-}
Randy Ohel: {5-Hearts} - folded third street

Joao Vieira raised Randy Ohel's bring-in and was three-bet by Mark Gregorich. Ohel folded and Vieira called.

Vieira called a bet on fourth, then both players checked fifth street.

On sixth street with Gregorich now showing four to a straight on board, Vieira check-folded to another bet by Gregorich, leaving him under 100,000 chips.

Tuan Le Eliminated in 14th Place ($20,239)

Nível 18
Tuan Le
Tuan Le

No-Limit Hold'em

Soon after being left short stacked by Jeff Madsen, Tuan Le tangled again with Madsen in what turned out to be his last hand of the tournament.

Ben Diebold opened with a raise before Madsen three-bet to 58,000 from the cutoff. Le then re-raised all in for his last 265,000, Diebold quickly folded, but Madsen snap-called with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Le turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and needed to improve. He didn't get any help on the {3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board and hit the rail in 14th place.

Badacey

The final draw was already completed when Jeff Madsen tabled the {7-Spades}{3-Spades} / {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a three-card Six-Dugi and a seventy-six. Tuan Le studied his cards carefully and eventually showed his {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a worse three-card and eighty-seven.

"I scoop?" Madsen asked and Le nodded, then tossed his cards into the muck as both players traded their spots on the third feature table.

Randy Ohel bet on fourth street and was called by Joao Vieira. Ohel bet again on fifth, and this time Vieira took a few moments before calling.

Vieira called again on sixth. On seventh, Ohel put out another bet that sent Vieira into the tank for several minutes. The Portuguese online legend counted his remaining stack and re-checked his cards several times before deciding to fold.

Gorodinsky Chips Up

Nível 18

Badacey

While Ben Diebold admitted that Badacey was his game, it was instead Mike Gorodinsky who won the first seizable pot in the variant. In a heads-up pot against Nick Schulman, he scooped it all with a {6-Clubs} / {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for a number one and six.

Diebold then chopped with Jeff Madsen to preserve his lead over Madsen on the third feature table.

Zyrin Quarters Ramos

Nível 18
Anatolii Zyrin
Anatolii Zyrin

Badacey

Anatolii Zyrin limped in the hijack and Felipe Ramos checked his big blind.

Ramos drew 2 while Zyrin drew just one.

Ramos then check-called a bet from Zyrin before again drawing two. Zyrin now patted his hand.

Another check from Ramos prompted another bet from Zyrin, which sent the Brazilian star into the tank.

After a couple of minutes of deliberation, Ramos called, leaving himself just over 100,000 behind.

Ramos then drew one while Zyrin patted again.

The final action went check-check and the hands were revealed.

Each player showed one-two-three for their Badugi hands, but Zyrin had a seven low as opposed to Ramos' nine-low, earning him an extra quarter of the pot.

Schulman Gets Some Chips Back

Nível 18

No-Limit Hold'em

With just a few chips in the middle and the river showing {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Ben Diebold bet 40,000 out of the big blind. Nick Schulman then raised to 140,000 in the cutoff and Diebold went into a brief tank before folding.

"Show me a nine! King nine of clubs?" Diebold asked. Both then chopped the next pot with an ace rag each and the game variant switched to Badacey. "That's my game, good luck guys," an excited Diebold exclaimed.

Jordan Siegel: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades}/{x-}
Christopher Claassen: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}/{x-}

Jordan Siegel bet on fifth and sixth streets and was called by Christopher Claassen.

"I'm laying the trap," Siegel said as they went heads-up to seventh. Claassen put out a bet and Siegel tanked for a few moments before calling.

Claassen showed {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for 7-5-3-2-A and Siegel tossed his cards into the muck, leaving himself just 75,000 behind.

The next hand, he got the rest of his chips in against Joao Vieira. Siegel finished with {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}, while Vieira had {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for a nine-low.

"Good game, guys," Siegel said as he became the first casualty on Day 3.
