The action folded to John Gonzalez in the small blind who ripped all in for his last 980,000 chips. Glynn Beebe was in the big blind and called to put Gonzalez at risk.
John Gonzalez:
Glynn Beebe:
The rail started cheering for an eight and wishing for Beebe to lose. However, the board ran out and Gonzalez was eliminated.
"Go back to the rail," Beebe said to the Gonzalez fans. Some more words were exchanged between the two parties before Gonzalez headed to the payout desk.
Jeremy Joseph jammed in the small blind to put Cole Ferraro to the test in the big blind. Ferraro thought about it and ultimately decided to risk his 550,000 or so chips.

The board ran out to leave Ferraro dead on the turn as he headed to the payout desk.
On the very next hand, Brian Frasca jammed in middle position for about 700,000 chips and Joseph called on the button.
Brian Frasca:
Jeremy Joseph:
Joseph picked up cowboys and looked to be in a likely position to knock out two players in a row. The flop got him closer to that result, but the spiked the turn to put Frasca ahead.
"That works," Frasca said.
The completed the board to keep Frasca alive and take the chips Joseph had just picked up.
Picking action up on the turn, it was Jareth East in the big blind who bet 335,000. Sean Ragozzini spent nearly three minutes in the tank before cutting out a raise to 850,000.
This time, it was East taking a couple of minutes off the clock before folding his hand.
Over on the right feature table, the chips went in preflop with Toby Lewis as the player at risk out of the small blind for what appeared to be some 1.2 million. Salko Imsirovic looked him up and held the superior pocket pair once the cards were revealed.

Salko Imsirovic:
The flop changed nothing and the turn gave both players an open-ended straight draw. Another blank followed on the river and that ended Lewis' run in the Main Event in the last level on Day 5.
Zachary Mdiarmid raised to 130,000 from the early position and Michael Berland three-bet shoved from the small blind for his last 320,000 or so. Weston Pring folded his big blind but Mcdiarmid quickly made the call with the bigger stack.
Michael Berland:
Zachary Mcdiarmid:
The flop came for Mcdiarmid to stay ahead but for Berland to pick up the gutshot to a straight.
The turn was the for Berland to pick up even more outs to a straight but the river completed the board with the for Berland to cash for the first time in a tournament. And to make it even better, he was visibly happy to have done it here in the Main Event.
